Jarvis E. Edwards, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, was immersed in music from a young age, playing piano in church and developing a deep passion for creativity. His interests broadened during middle and high school when he became captivated by the professional portraits of his favorite gospel artists, many of which credited photographer Jason McCoy. This sparked a fascination with photography, and Jarvis, driven by curiosity and a love for learning, sought out mentorship from McCoy to study the craft.
In 2013, Jarvis launched his own photography and graphic design business, later expanding into videography. His expertise, combined with his artistic vision, allowed him to grow his business and serve a wide array of clients. Now based in Shreveport, Louisiana, Jarvis works with businesses, colleges, churches, and organizations across Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Atlanta, Maryland, New Jersey, and Chicago.
Throughout his career, Jarvis has remained committed to creating timeless images and high-quality content that resonate with his clients and leave a lasting impact. His work is driven by a dedication to storytelling and capturing moments that will stand the test of time.
